INNOVISION PRESENTS OKRA MEDICAL WITH FINALIST AWARD FOR TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT
GREENVILLE, SC, November 22, 2019 – Okra Medical has received a 2019 InnoVision Finalist Award in Technology Development at a gala ceremony last evening. Recognition for this prestigious award is based on an assessment of innovation and complexity through juried competition.
Okra Medical was recognized for its SafeMedWaste product innovation at InnoVision’s Finalists Award Reception on Nov. 21. The InnoVision Awards Program is South Carolina’s premier awards program focused exclusively on celebrating and enabling innovation through technology.
Celebrating its 21st award year, the InnoVision awards program recognizes innovative persons and organizations in South Carolina in six categories of technical innovation, as well as the special categories of Young Innovator and Townes Lifetime Achievement.
The award categories are New Technology Development, Technology Integration, Education, Community Service, Sustainability, and Small Enterprise.
